Featuring an integrated I/O system that fully harnesses the power of the custom-designed AMD Ryzen “Zen 2” 8-core CPU, AMD Radeon RDNA 2-based graphics, and extremely fast 825GB solid-state drive a 5.5 GB/s transfer rate, the PlayStation 5 can deliver frame rates up to 120 fps on 4K displays. Its HDMI 2.1 output also supports 8K televisions.
At the same time, ray tracing and HDR support offer breathtaking graphics with realistic lighting effects, reflections, and shadows that pull you in to the games worlds. The PlayStation 5 Digital Edition does not have a disc drive. Instead, it relies on the PlayStation Network and PlayStation Store to download games and movies for playback.
