Summary:
Said is a young man raised by his father Benezar with a good education and skills in weaponry. During a pilgrimage, he is captured by Bedouins who attack a caravan, but the chief, Selim, protects him. He is later rescued by the merchant Kalum-Bek, but Kalum mistreats him and accuses him of theft. Said saves the life of Caliph Harun Al-Raschid, and with his favor, justice is served.
