This kit is perfect for both new makers and professional users. Since no soldering is required, getting started is easy with only some basic DIY experience. More advanced users can leverage it to customize and hack their smart applications and devices, with full control of their data and processes.
It comes with one MKR Wi-Fi 1010 board, one MKR IoT Carrier with a round OLED color display, integrated on-board sensors (temperature, humidity, pressure, and light), two 24 V relays, five capacitive touch buttons, SD card holder, PIR, IMU and moisture sensors, and much more.
The includes 12 months FREE access to the Arduino Create Maker Plan – the premium subscription to Arduino online coding platform. Benefit from unlimited compilation time, support for third parties boards, 15 days retention of your data, and a host of more premium features. Manage all of your code online, and access it from wherever you are.
The open system enables the development of fully customised smart devices; controlling what you want, how you want to. The kit provides access to 8 out-of-the-box activities + 2 ‘getting to know’ guides, for any user that wants to transform their home into a smart one – build your own modern thermostat, remotely control your lights or water your plants while you’re out of town!
The device can either be powered directly through a USB cable from your computer or by 18650 Li-Ion 3.7V battery (battery is not included).
